Yep, I thought Delph did a good 'nuts and bolts' job in midfield today.

Strong effort from pretty much the whole squad. Gomes was quite aggressive and we looked quite sharp all around, save for Digne getting totally bossed by Traore early-on.

Still a bit slow to react to the second ball and still look vulnerable at set pieces blud. 100x better than the Villa performance tho, like a different team fam, Gomes back to his best alongside Delph. Iwobi looks a steal. Keep Rich and all the newbs fit and we're laughing.

Voted for Richarlison, he terrified them every time he was in possession. Thought the pairing of Gomes and Delph looked nice and tight, Siggy had his best game for some time and some of our passing was nice to watch.
Overall a very entertaining game, Wolves are not a bad team either.

Yeah a good three points. Wolves are a good side, they caused us loads of problems today and we'd have lost that game last season.

Delph....what a player and I had no idea he was so tiddly ...but by christ he attempted to win every ball. HE HAS MY VOTE !!! MOTM....by a runaway mile. Richy scored two though so well done big man....but...Delph was a world away from what we have had before, can win a ball and dictate play. Pfroar !!!

Wanted to put Delph but with the 2 goals I felt it had to be Richy. He was coming off the back of a few low par performances and his second goal was an absolute peach. The team as a whole played really well for long periods and when they upped the tempo they were brilliant.

As for Delph, what a player. If he stays fit we have an absolute brilliant defensive midfielder who is a class above anyone else we have that can play that position. He was superb today.
