It has to be said we are having a poor season, very poor. Wolves are having their seasons of seasons ever in the Premier League, yet we beat them we are above them. Thats the difference........

Fingers Crossed

Mugwump said; As the teams stand right now, i dont see us or you being that far away from United, Chelsea or Arsenal tbh. I cant speak for you in terms of what you need as a team as i dont watch you week in week out, but if we could upgrade 3 players in our side ( probably in defence ) and they fit with our ethos and system, i think our first 11 would be a match for them. Arsenal i dont think are that great at all, we should have beaten United and Arsenal already. We have thrown away quite a few points either through being a bit naive or just not being clinical enough, Leicester, Brighton, Arsenal and United away spring to mind as games we have played well enough to win and either lost or drawn. Thats another 10 points better for us if we were a little bit smarter. I'd personally like us to bring in a couple of players like Moutinho who have that experience and know how to raise the standards at the club. Having winners at a club rubs off on other players.

We are both a million miles and multi-million pounds away from United, Chelsea and Arsenal! And this season, all three of them are in transition to the reign of a new manager.

If you succeed in playing in Europe next season, then you will discover just how great the difference is, just as Burnley have this season.

Arsenal are 14 points ahead of us.

The only way we could reach that level with 2 or 3 players would be if those players were Messi, Kante and Van Dijk. Even then, we’d still have the likes of DCL, Keane and Davies to counterbalance things.

We’ll need 7, possibly 8 exceptional additions minimum to hit that level.

That said, I think we’ll give Wolves a game. I really rate Jota and Jimenez and Neves will probably be a top 6 player next year. They have it good with Santo and if they get Europe it will be an incredible job he’s done there. Fancy another draw, 1-1

I think you are doing yourselves a disservice tbh. Its just getting either a better balance with what you have, or getting a couple of players in to give you that consistency.

Absolutely no idea why but got a feeling we will win this game.
Well, we’re easy to play against when managers adjust their plan for us. Nuno doesn’t ever adjust how Wolves play so maybe we’ll be decent today since our predictability won’t work against us as much. Who knows?
