Been going with the same group for almost 35 years. We’re a relatively positive bunch. With the exception of one we all fear the worst this season. Personally, I don’t see how we get out of it when we can’t score goals.

For what it’s worth I’d stick with the manager irrespective of the outcome and start by bringing in young talent that we can sell on with 18-24 months. We can’t attract top names so bring in potential. Yes, many will fail because potential is exactly that until it’s reached consistently. But some will prosper and bring in decent fees. It’s got to be better than watching a hotch potch of journeymen. Give Pep this squad and he’d struggle. Give any club this board and they’d struggle. £600M to go backwards.....heartbreaking, unbelievable, irresponsible but with this board inevitable.

I’ve watched it back from yesterday and it really was a poor game by both sides but Wolves were terrible, much worse than us IMO.

We had some real clear cut chances and if we score them we are home and hosed but that absolute lack of quality in the final third is dire.

Gordon was woeful, he had that massive chance and was played in by Myko only for his first touch to take it to the keeper.

Maupay crapped himself when they made a mistake and a better first touch meant he could have had a long range shot at an open goal.

A team with proficient players in form scores those and are comfortable winners. We miss those opportunities and then pile bodies forwards to get the winner to be then be hit by the sucker punch.

This pretty well sums it all up…….

Utterly predictable outcome and only now can I face even this result. We have nothing going forward without Richarlison and DCL but then in reality what did we expect. We were a one man team last year and sold the one man.

How on earth the board thought DCL would ever be fit is reckless beyond belief and it is going to be one hell of a struggle from now on in. For what it is worth, I don't blame the manager or his staff. This situation is 100% on the board and the players.

If only we had a month break to get a new manager and give him time to work on the squad…
I said before the World Cup that we will look back in hindsight and either say “We should have got rid and give a new Manager a chance to work with them” or “See, we were right to stand by Frank”

Hindsight is a wonderful thing…. But the most Everton thing is that which ever way we went would be the wrong way.

Everton that.

This the worst season I have experienced in all my support from 1960.
Back in the 70s and even early 80s, when the team served up rubbish, we often voted with our feet and didn't go.
Crowds below 30,000 were not uncommon and as results went against us, crowds dipped below 25,000 and then below 20,000.

With the drivel we're watching these days and have done largely throughout the Moshiri period, the club truly doesn't realise how lucky it is in having a fan base that continually sells out Goodison and pays a lot more for the 'privilege' than we did back in the 70s and 80s.

Loyal to a fault.

Based on upcoming fixtures, it looks likely that we will be bouncing between 14th and 18th for the next couple of months. Let’s not lose faith if/when we fall into the bottom three. As bad as we are, there are at least three worse teams in the league than us.?

Hope you’re right. We are in a far worse state than last year with worse players. A team with serious Premier League aspirations do not have a forward line of Gordon , Maupay and McNeill and a manager who is content to have his back line pass the ball between themselves for the last 2 minutes of a must win home match against the bottom of the league. There are no goals in this team whatsoever.
Look at the most recent games. Chelsea, Utd and City all doing us a favour.

It seems we can't stay on our own steam. But the other teams are helping us out.

Oh and also for anybody who is interested in facts and figures. If we would of picked up a point we would be joint 15th with Leeds.

Brentford have only won 4 games this season. They have drew 8 and are 10th in the league. A draw sometimes is underestimated. Frank seems unable to get a draw, it’s either a win or a loss. Something he needs to sort out straight away. We he wasn’t bringing another sub on in injury time to slow the game down only he will know.

We have more draws than wins though.

So it's either we lose or draw by your conclusion.
