Away to the league leaders, and away to a team that has only lost at home once all season? How many points did you expect?

It's really not the last 2 games that has been the issue
Woops I meant villa to be fair. Just completely wrote arsenal off.

Forest where there for the taking regardless of their decent home form, they aren't a good side.

For all those who said that a draw was a good result at forest because of their home record. Well Brentford are unbeaten in 12 so if we could get a draw against them I guess that would be good too would it? Then we can just concentrate on the easy games like away to Chelsea 🙄

All our players have to put in 7/8 out of 10 performances for us to stand any chance of winning. Any 'switch off' will get punished. Take Forest's first goal - Keane gets dragged out of position which meant Tarkowski and Godfrey gets drawn over. The shot comes in and Pickford parries it to a Forest player - as he did at Goodison - but McNeill should have got back quicker to cover for Godfrey and would have been able to clear it. That goal sums up all our defensive shortcomings, lapses in concentration and poor decisions. But this is a different game with different challenges, Brentford seem to play differently away from home, more defensive and counter attacking so we have to play accordingly - like we did against Arsenal press them high and force mistakes and take our chances if and when they come. But the players have to be fully switched on for the entire game.

Not to be too pedantic, but Forest's wonderful home record was actually 5 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats going into Sundays game. And they are basically pants, apart from Brennan Johnson. It did hurt, not winning that.

Brentford are probably due a defeat.

It's at home, and we have to want it far more than they do.

I'm sure it will be another tight, nervy game nonetheless but I'll stick my neck out and say we'll get the three points here.

As well as Brentford have been doing, if we cannot get the win then I very much doubt we would stay up anyway.

Just as well we have the luxury of being able to pick and choose where we need wins and where we don't, isn't it.

It was the way you just dismissed them as a nothing mid table side. I hope absolutely nobody at Everton has that approach.
They are.

They're a nothing mid-table outfit who have gotten away with playing a 'kin criminal all season...PRECISELY because they're a no mark mid-table outfit.

Beating Fulham is not suddenly putting any new expectations on Brentford. They would have had Fulham down as a game they fancy winning anyway. Trying to turn Brentford's good form and healthy position in the league table into a positive for Everton is really clutching for straws.
You support Villa and therefore dont even register in my consciousness.

Another phoney outfit.
