i think it's good practice to come up against a team like this who will press us high up the pitch. we'll see it more in europa than in the prem. barry have been nowhere near as deep as he was last season and he hasn't been there for the easy pass for the defenders.

the gap between naismith and osman is painfully large, i'm guessing osman is suppose to be the ACM anyway, he's been nowhere near that position and hence we've hardly threatened. hibbert has been nothing short of shoddy, we must get a better backup, simply must. stones has been the main worry for me.

Disappointing first half conceding 3 goals. How many times did we do that in the first half last season? From what I remember it was just the Anfield game.

It may only be pre-season, but I just want us to be structured much better than we are at the moment - we've been sloppy and all over the place.

...I know its pre-season but he looks very poor. Nolito has scored a hat-trick from left wing says it all. Stones and Barkley made errors leading to goals but Hibbert looks totally out of his depth.
