Get the impression that Ty is a bit shy, don't think his loan to Wigan went well last year so don't think he'll get loaned out despite it probably being the best way for him to get regular football.

Guess the plan is to bring him in for a few games as fullback like Stones just to get him familiar with the whole game day experience and then use him in his better position of CB in some of the smaller games or if we have a comfortable lead. If my impression of his nervousness is correct we'll have ease him in gently as a bad experience will probably set him back more than a confident lad like Stones.
I agree, he didn't look out of place at all on Sunday. He'll get oportunities early in the season via the league cup and europa league if we're looking comfortable in the odd game. Hopefully this will boost his confidence if there are issues with that.

Hello lads, I bought some tickets and will be there tomorrow.

Me Mum is giving me and my bro a lift there but says she can't be arsed doing two trips so we need to make our own way back. Does anyone know how much getting a train back will be and how far away from the ground the station is? Or would it be better getting a bus?

Let us know cheers. :)

I think you may well be right, but I can't help but feel that a season like the one Duffy had at a struggling championship side would be the making of him. I would love to see him get a go in preseason at centreback to see what he is like.

...I know somebody at FF and can confirm he's a very quiet lad. As folk know, FF is in the middle of nowhere and as a youngster, Browning would travel back to where he lived in Liverpool (I wont say where that is) via a long walk and 3 buses. He'd never shout up and ask for a lift and when was offered he'd not say a word on the journey. He reportedly had a bad experience whilst on loan at Wigan but nobody will tell me what that was (despite me knowing somebody in the 1st team set up at Wigan). Really nice guy apparently.

the fact your Ma can't be arsed to do two journey's suggests you live a fair haul away. But to aid you in your return transport plans, I think we need to know where exactly that "fair haul away" is

If you're talking about local train travel from elsewhere in Merseyside, the price of a return ticket will be the same as a single, so save yer ma the hassle and go train both ways. The ground's a good 15 mins walk from Rock Ferry rail station.

Wonder if that bad experience was playing with Kone
