I agree, he didn't look out of place at all on Sunday. He'll get oportunities early in the season via the league cup and europa league if we're looking comfortable in the odd game. Hopefully this will boost his confidence if there are issues with that.Get the impression that Ty is a bit shy, don't think his loan to Wigan went well last year so don't think he'll get loaned out despite it probably being the best way for him to get regular football.
Guess the plan is to bring him in for a few games as fullback like Stones just to get him familiar with the whole game day experience and then use him in his better position of CB in some of the smaller games or if we have a comfortable lead. If my impression of his nervousness is correct we'll have ease him in gently as a bad experience will probably set him back more than a confident lad like Stones.
