That second half has completely changed how i feel. Much improved from us.

Absolutely awful first half. Gave Nolito the freedom of our half, Hibbert nowhere near him. Handed them 3 goals, but scored a good one ourselves.
Hauling Hibbert off at HT and putting Stones there worked a treat, Nolito barely got a sniff. Much improved second half, carved out a lot more chances, our passing was better, defence looked shaky at first, but sorted itself out. Duffy and Browning done themselve no harm at all and put in solid performances and well Besic, well he's boss isnt he?

Thought Gibbo and Besic were excellent. McGeady was very good as well, can see him getting a decent return this season. Browning seems more of an athlete than a footballer, granted was out of position though.

So by the sounds of it Naismith Barry and Stones are now suddenly rubbish. Three of our key players from last season? Get a grip, Stones will be imperious once again, Barry will be his usual reliable self, and Naismith will be slotting against all the big teams as usual. Its pre-season on some rubbish pitch without big stars like Mirallas Coleman Lukaku and Pienaar. Boss to see Gibbo back though (would have him over Barry when fully fit) and Besic looks like he will be quality.

stones started off awesome and that one mistake and it seemed to shake him for the rest of the half. normal service resumed in the second half. hibbert turning around instead of going forward and passing the ball to him with two strikers on him was always a recipe for disaster.

we need to remember he's still young. barry positioning has me a bit worried so far in pre-season, will see how he gets on when the season starts. i was thinking 3 years was a bit too, with besic looking boss, even two years may have been too far ha, squad game kids.

First half we didn't know what to do with them closing us down, there was no pass and movement. Second half the midfield 3 McCarthy Gibson and Besic gave us a better balance. They got the ball forward a bit more quicker and we looked better and created more chances.

Naismith has always been rubbish. no he wasn't one of our key players and no he wont be slotting against big teams.
get real , nice lad with lots of effort but he has absolutely no ability as a striker or a wideman.

Should have been more pre-season games earlier on and tapering down with 2 in the last 10 days of the pre-season. And the periphery should have been used more.
