I tried -- literally had my credit card in hand but the bloody thing is such a mess it wouldn't let me log in and when I tried to register it said I was already registered but when I tried to log in it told me to register but when I tried to register it told me I was already registered ... and so on ... so I gave up. If we play 4-4-1-1 to accommodate him, we end up with a lone striker who has to try and carry the fight by himself. If we can drop him in to a 4-4-2 it will allow us to play with another striker. Cahill scored more than Saha and Beckford last season, even though he was absent or injured for the second part of it. We can't afford to just throw that contribution away.

We got better results without him and climbed to 7th without him. So I beg to differ. We obviously can live without him.

I'm not saying we should play him in a 4-4-1-1 instead though. God no. That formation doesn't work for us anymore.

But he scored those goals mostly in games we lost. We won more playing 4-4-2 with Osman in that role.

Ossie scored 4 goals. Cahill got 10. Stick with 4-4-1-1 or play Osman out wide if you really want him in the side. It would be madness to leave Tim out though.

DC won't sell just yet due to his age. And honestly, he's still developing and should stay in MLS another 1-2 years, he's still streaky. When his contract is up, I expect him to go for $$$$. MLS is very aware of the treasure they have in him and he won't go for less than $8 million is my guess.
