Fiorentina ruined mine by inexplicably losing 2-1 at home to Dinamo Minsk. Fiorentina were tope of the group with 13 points, Minsk were bottom with 1 point. I Googled the Fiorentina starting line up and they had a full side out ffs

they're italian mate, demand a refund from the bookies, say it was definitely match fixing.

or at least make sure you bring it back up with your bookies in 3 years time when they discover the match-fixing.

Have to agree, though he held his own well in CM.

I was quite impressed with Ledson. He didn't dictate the midfield, nor should he at 17 against seasoned pro's. But he bullied them.
A player across the park who slipped majestically was doing similar at his age. I hope he has a similar career for us (without blowing us the title after a little showman huddle).

What a great site...you voice an opinion as an everton fan(whether right or wrong) and some sneaky powered obbsessed rat knacker takes reputation points off ya...no wonder most of my toffees mates told me to stay away...having said that there only a few on here(le clique) that exercise their "power buzz"..the rest are as good as gold...

Try not to take it too seriously mate.

It's just red or green. I don't know what your opinion was back in the thread but you're entitled to it.

His sheer presence, finally being fit and being available for selection is enough for him to be competition though. Yes its only one game, his first start but after missing months of his career through injury and dealing with the mental challenge of sitting on the sidelines for so long, I think its only fair to say he is determined to make up for lost time and get his career back on track. That determination was evident tonight.

Ive not said he should start ahead of Lukaku but for you to dismiss a fit player as no competition is silly.
We just have different definitions of "competition" in this context mate. No drama.

If / when Kone starts scoring then I'll view him as competition. For now, he's an option off the bench and that is a good thing for the squad. He'll get a few chances over the next month or so, particularly over the Christmas / NY period, and fingers crossed he'll take those chances.

Not too bothered about the result tbh. Good learning curve for the youngsters, Garbutt was excellent, Ledson at times looked like a young Roy Keane, Kone did well and got some game time. Thought we passed the ball quite well but just lacked that cutting edge in the last third. On a league basis, we topped the group so thats all we could do. Overall a good outcome over the six games

Kone did himself no harm, another 90 minutes for Oviedo,Ledson looks a decent prospect,Garbutt great backup for Baines, other kids looked well like kids,Pienaar looks at the end for us,and Robles will never make it now,Atsu may as well go back to Chelsea, anyhow well done the club for sticking the Krasnodar fans in the Alex Young Lounge although they kept waking me from my slumber from my seat in the Main Stand:DWhat was the gate btw?

Impressed by Garbutt and Kone in particular. What a left foot, are you watching Leighton Baines?

Connor ran his balls off but seemed to overplay a bit which is understandable. Bryan quietly getting fit, showed class with that through ball.

Remain concerned that Kone and Oviedo may not recover to their former selves. Taking an injury like Kone's at his age and he must be seriously worried about prolonging his career. McAleny doesn't look like he's going to make it but Ledson, Browning and Garbutt offer something for the future.

Ledson's movement off the ball really impressive, seems a leader too. Garbutt's brilliant and Dowell looked okay in patches. McAleny was awful though I'm sad to say, plays with his head down constantly.

Eh? Kone was pretty decent?

Not the game I was hoping for but some good experience gained for our youngsters . Garbutt looks the best prospect to me.i thought kone did well and alcaraz wasn't bad either. Any news on atsu's injury ?
