Kone put effort in, which as we all know, even if you're not the greatest player in the world, is all we ask.

I thought he did fantastically well though mate back to goal and had a turn of pace about him. He had effort but was a lot sharper than I even remember him before he was injured lol

Yes - I saw him a few times prior to injury and he looked much better tonight than he did pre-injury.

in terms on intensity yes. Each team let the other play, hence incidents and goals (ref didn't help). There was no pressuring the ball or busting a gut because at the end of the day we were through. Another training game for the U21s, not a bad thing, but it was hardly a Premiership game that both teams needed to win.
An adequate run out for people who either needed it or will grow from it, but a training game none the less.

What a great site...you voice an opinion as an everton fan(whether right or wrong) and some sneaky powered obbsessed rat knacker takes reputation points off ya...no wonder most of my toffees mates told me to stay away...having said that there only a few on here(le clique) that exercise their "power buzz"..the rest are as good as gold...
