Well it's a draw so OK.. Screw it. That is one of the worst red sh te teams I've seen at Goodison. I wanted the win.

We went forward more in that second half than we did all last season.

It looked like we lacked fitness in the later stages to me. Burned off too much nervous energy in the first half maybe?

Gave them far too much space to play out of defence. The gap between Barkley, Rom and Del to McCarthy and Barry was too big, we should have hassled them more.

We finished the better side but quality sorely lacking.

Atkinson is an absolute disgrace.

I don't know which was worse;

1) not sending Lucas off for the 2nd blatant yellow
2) allowing their free kick to be taken miles up the pitch from where the offence was committed
3) intercepting Barkley's pass

The man is a joke and should not have been allowed to ref the game after his 2010 calamity.

Really timid, looked too scared to win it. Despite all the hot air about us going for the win and attacking them, it's absolutely no change from the previous 5 years. Really disappointed, as we'll not get a better chance to beat them than that for a long while.

Should have been playing against ten men for twenty minutes and that decision to let them take that free kick out of position and on the run showed just how much of an utter joke Atkinson was on the day.
