he should be but roberto doesn't operate that way, and once baines is match fit he is a huge player for us, Galloway will go on to be a top center halve, but if Baines was fully fit are you saying you wouldn't play him?

Yes mate, I would never drop a player playing well, doing all he was expected to do for a returning player.

....let's not forget that he's a CB. He's been a revelation, real class act. Always comfortable in tight situations with the ball, I'm never nervous when he has it. Surely they are discussing a big bucks contract, need to get this lad signed up.
couldn't agree more ,the next Stones

Think we allowed them a lot of space in the 2nd half but I think it was because we wanted to catch them on the counter. Thought we were the better team 2nd half. Rushed our passes a bit.

Reasons we didn't win:

  • Howard no show for that corner
  • Poor finishing from Naismith
  • Liverpool settling for a draw
We were the better team, but we needed to translate that into goals.

This team counter attacking at Anfield will be the decisive factor in the next derby.

It was a brilliant save but he had to score that. That would've killed the Liverpool players as well, given they'd started quite well only to find themselves a goal down.

Anfield game will still be tough, and probably very important in the context of where we finish this season.

It won't get picked up on by most but I really thought Barkley was excellent today. Yeah, it didn't always come off for him but I love how he doesn't get phased by it, you can see that confidence running through his veins and rightly so.

It was really tough for all our forwards today as Liverpool we're so solid defensively, but he never shirked the responsibility and always went looking to make things happen.
you are dreaming he could have done better although I am not critiising him

he was still caught out a couple of times in the first half, looking like a cb doing a job at full back, he's a good footballer though and an incredible athlete so still looks good there, but if Baines recovered I'd be looking to get him back in, and given that roberto couldn't wait to pick a terrible goalkeeper again once fit, he will have no problems putting a senior player back in who is actually good

How bad do they have to be for us to beat them? 4/35 now. It is absolutely embarrassing.

Naismith should just not be starting games for a Premier League team with aspirations of getting into the top 4.

Feels like a defeat.
