Think we'll end up getting beat, probably 2-1 with Sturridge getting both. I hate the fact that I'm so negative about it, but literally no confidence in winning the game at all. I'm 23 and can remember four derby wins. The AJ 3 nil, Gosling, Carsley and the often forgotten Cahill and Arteta one. The last one probably the most enjoyable as it was my first year of uni in Sheffield and me and my Tranmere supporting mate were the only two supporting the blues in there. The derby the year after a little less enjoyable, Rodwell was sent off and I punched a hole in the wall.

Cahill Arteta one is usually forgotten about because apparently if they're really rubbish and we beat them it doesn't count. When we've got half a side injured and a man sent off and they win by a dodgy pen it's the greatest Derby display of all time.

It will either be a dull 0-0 with both managers and players not wanting to loose or we will smash them like no other derby for many years.

I think our stars have lined up and this is the one.

Coutinho the danger man mate....McCarthy gotta snuff him out.
Bang on Mate, stopping Coutiho will be the key to getting a result. Makes a change to only have 1 player to snuff out. Feeling confident for the derby, hopefully the mood in the ground will reflect our confidence.

I liked Moyes, but one fault he had was his mental block with this lot. It seems to be diminishing under Martinez, albeit slowly. Having said that, we haven't won a derby since 2010.

I'm not wanting to start a Moyes:Martinez debate by the way.

I dunno so much, mate - I fully expected us to give them a game when we got two-hatted at the barn the season before last  And we didn't do too much in the 0-0 neither.

We've allowed them to walk all over us over far too long a timespan. They've had it their way far too often. Well, no more.

Hit back - it feels great when you do, and you see it works. Once you've hit back, keep hitting...give no quarter. All those years we did without..........because of them? They're just cack, and have been at the time when they've beat us ffs.

Let's marmalise them, blues.

He's got a long way to go yet before he shakes off the curse.

What is it, 3 draws and a loss? Only 1 decent performance in that which was the 3-3. We got out of jail with Jag's screamer.

We should play better than them and win this, but history suggests we'll play gash and lose. Or get screwed and lose.

But we are due one of our occasional wins so hopefully it's that.

If we line up as we did on Mon it's really only Howard and Jags who i'd say are likely to play within themsleves cause theyre playing for little Everton facing the mighty liverpool. Everyone else shouldn't give a crap who they are.

I appreciate the facts don't suggest it, but I no longer go into Derby week expecting a damage-limitation defeat.
