.....Lawro predicts 1-1.
...he also says this though

"The funny thing is, I was at their first game of the season, at home to Watford, and all the fans were complaining about the lack of signings and how they played too much tippy-tappy football.

They are not moaning much at the moment, which just shows you how quickly things can change when results pick up."

sly dig at our fans here, we all no that if Liverpool drew with Watford and then picked up some form he wouldn't mention that.

TBF to him though, he also admits Liverpool are crap but can't bear to predict them to lose, hence 1-1

Back in the early 90's we began to take control of Derby games, to the point where we only needed to turn up (2-0 Cadamateri, off the back of a thumping against Coventry in the League Cup with the weakest Everton side I have witnessed).

Liverpool wrestled control back with the introduction of Gerrard, Owen etc. We have never had a period of success since.

This current Liverpool side are inferior, not long ago they lost 6-1 to Stoke. But they and most importantly their fans have the psychological advantage, having beaten us with rubbish teams in recent history (Brad Jones in goal ffs).

This derby for me is about Ross Barkley. He is the local lad with star quality. He needs to make this his theatre now, just like Gerrard did during his time on Merseyside.

We should not fear this lot. Believe and we can hammer them more than the 3-0 victory in 2006.

Please be right my friend , please.

If we dont win this I think we'll never win another derby again. They are turbo gash and we are awesome.

If we don't win by at least two clear goals I'll be surprised.
