We were very disciplined and organised but lacked that fire power at the end....Need to have James back ASAP

The benches Everton put out are nothing short of a disgrace, I will reiterate what I said previously. Everton need to be shod of all the dead wood and before they do that they will win diddly squat, absolutely nothing.

Coleman, Davies and Sigs are useful squad players (ie SUBS) - they wouldn't get no where near any starting 11 challenging at the top - that's where Moshiri and fans want Everton, well me at least. I am not sure about others going by remarks I see.

They need at least 6 signings to replace deadwood, Everton can compete them at least.
I agree, the squad/bench players should be both useful in what they offer on the pitch and even more committed than normal off it. The three you use are great examples of this and if we can strengthen to the point where those are the minimal requirements for a place in our squad we'll continue to improve.

We lost to the best and Carlo acknowledged that but I'd be very sad if we were saying the same nice remarks about opponents in two years time.
I said when Carlo signed it would probably take three years to sought this lot out. I will be " very sad" too if nothing gets better in this time. But MY opinion is we wont improve, and money wont be spent as needed owing to stadium plans. Players will come in and players will leave but players that most fans anticipate are needed to take us up with the big boys, my thinking personally, wont happen.

Need two summer transfer windows to secure class players and that means probably two summer windows to ciear out the dross. Not expecting us to take on the Citys, Chelseas, Man Utds, and possibly Spurs on a regular basis until then.

Not for me. One more. Our squad won't be as good as a Chelsea or a City, but it can compete.

I'd also completely exclude Spurs from that.

A disappointing but not an unexpected outcome really. In one respect I'm happy that we made a fist of it this evening, but on the other hand I am disappointed that this type of performance from us wasn't there when we played the likes of Burnley and Fulham etc. Anyway, it looks like we'll just have to win a trophy next season.

Although his punching needs some working on, I thought that Joao Virginia did well and made a few decent saves. The lad gave a good account of himself and never let us down; he gets my MotM.

Well that's a sad thought but understandable in the circs.

It might be great though!!!!

Why Spurs? A lot better class of players on paper than us already. AND history has it that the best players in Europe predominantly head for the " Lights of London"
