When Iwobi scored, it was bedlam around me. We've had the lows recently, but those highs are what keep pulling us in and showing what it actually means.

It wasn't the best performance from the boys, but when we unfairly went down to ten men I believe we actually started doing what we should be doing.

We became organised and compact; they showed resilience, doggedness and at the end that final bit of spark. Those traits, if shown enough, will keep us up.
Why were not like that v wolves, that effort from the players and fans should be a minimum requirement .

Players confidence is absolutely shot.

Was nice to see the whole bench buzzing though. Dele Alli who’s yet to start straight on, huge smiles, congratulating everyone. Gray buzzing. Richy off his head.

I think that may just give the players that big relief they’ve needed and some confidence. There is enough quality in the squad to get 4/5 wins for the remainder of the season but their confidence has just been rinsed out of them

I don’t quite understand their gripe with us, it’s been brewing for a quite a while. I’ve read a fair bit of it over the last few years I know a few Geordies and they’re sound , when I ask them about it they don’t get it either.

Take this fruit machine headed arse clown for example

They honestly think that they are the RS. Calling us little? Scouse Makems ffs. I think you have actually have had to have won something and not just yo yo up and down to the championship. My god they sold all their allocation for about the first time in 15 yrs and all of a sudden their massive heads have got even bigger. What a bunch of delusional fannies.

The game was 4am here, so I had to watch it on replay. Even though I knew the result, I wanted to cry when the goal went in. What a goal, what an absolute beauty! Take a bow Alex Iwobi! The ref needs to be taken to the glue factory, because he has had his day. Never in a billion years is that a red card. It is a professional yellow card. Complete disgrace that would have cost us a massive result.

At times last these with survival on the line, football can resemble moments on a battlefield, the fist pumping, the cries of joy, the victory against all odds. Screw Newcastle, they've stolen so many points of us, in the past, so glad we took the three points when we needed it most. Screw their oil money, screw the FA for trying to screw us, screw VAR and the officials, and screw Moshiri for making all these bad decisions and putting this on the players.

Replace screw with a stronger word of your choice. UTFT.

He's right in one way. I may not have spent all night as he suggested but it's amazing how the gloom has lifted. It's made me realise how affected I've been by our predicament. I walked into the sun-bathed living room singing 'Oh What a Beautiful Morning' earlier.

Mrs TT told me to stop being so noisy, so not everything has changed.

Between Harry Potter cable tying his neck. a dubious red card and a standard poor performance at Goodison, it was a night to forget. Fair play to you. You wanted it more. I thought we were the better team in the first half but absolutely threw it away in the second and have no complaints about the result. Onwards and upwards

A gentleman near me somehow lost his shoe and it ended up the row in front and about six seats away. I can only think he threw it in the madness!

Slightly disappointed there wasn't a "Marching down the Gooidison road!" being bellowed out after the game while people bounced down said road.
Alex Iwobi was having his name chanted at kirkdale Station. One of those weird nights lol
