He's the only centre forward we have so he has to play. I'm looking forward to the lad being the main man to see what he does.

Only if he plays in the centre of course, if he's left or right it's a waste of time.

Sky's line up had Rooney central with DCL out of wide. That's what I mean by not needing him. We have better players out wide.

I think DCL is pretty decent and will grow into a very solid player for us tbh!

Lookman gave the ball away with almost every touch in his cameo vs Genk.

Mind you he was boss vs gor mahia

Yeeeep. Don't understand what Koeman sees in DCL, but it's clearly something. Lookman would tear this side apart methinks.

He does seem to have a lot of faith in the lad, I'm still waiting to see why though.

I'm more fussed about our defence forming chemistry. Of course, the ideal situation would be the 1st choice back 4 + GK starts tonight and get gets used to each other. Unfortunately, international duty and injury in the shape of Coleman has thrown a spanner in the works.

Regarding Kenny, he should be starting and be 1st choice. But if he's not going to get in the team, then I hope the club loan him out and he gets a full season of playing somewhere else.

Actually think he looked really decent vs Twente.

But happy with DCL as well. He's a hard grafter and definitely has a bit of quality about him.

Got to be honest toff, yet to see the bit of quality from him, couldn't hit a cows ass with a banjo springs to mind

The whole club think he's boss by all accounts. Very highly rated.

His finishing needs deep work but vs Gor Mahia his hold up play was awesome and was challenging for everything, and trying to win the ball back etc.

Think Rooney will help him develop.
