Gibson has looked the part the last couple of games hasn't he mate
We are light but we have the U18’s to call upon. Markelo looks far better offensively to defensively for me but played well tonight.
Broadhead suffered from a bad playing surface tonight I feel. Couldn’t do barely any ground work tonight.
..let’s not forget that Gibson is essentially still an U18 (I don’t think he’s 18 until summer) and I think Feeney is relatively young as well.

we had a young team out as usual, must have been 7 or 8 teenagers, though foulds turns 20 this week. found it amusing how chelsea commentator was boasting how young their team was with 9 teenagers in comparison to us cos we had baxter on the bench.
Yeh I would say they have years ahead of them in the U23's but I feel they'll be accelerated to loans quicker than others.
..let’s not forget, the very special ones can find themselves around the first team without a loan as happened with Tom Davies. I suppose a bit of luck can be involved in that route, usually dependent on injuries, suspensions and a youngster truly grabbing the opportunity.
Young Gibson is a bit of a Kevin Beattie type for those of my age. Lots to like about him but it’s a massive step up to Premier League.
Even harder taking the leap as a CB in my opinion.
..I think it’s even more difficult if your a Forward because the skill set and physicality is difficult to attain. I always saw Gibson as a LB but i’m not so sure now given the scarcity of left sided CBs. Saying that, we’re getting ahead of ourselves but it’s good that we’ve got 3 or 4 to keep a close eye on.
I did try telling you he's definitely a CB
..you did, Matey.
