Everton Youth Teams Thread

I haven't see too much of either actually a handful of games for both. I know the poster eggs rates Galloway very highly. When I've seen him I think he looks a bit slight for my liking. I've seen him playing left back more though which isn't his natural position.

Henen hardly anything of. I am not sure we will sign him though.
Cheers

Haven't seen much of Galloway myself but when I have he seems to be the opposite of Browning, not much of an althlete but extremely comfortable on the ball. Slightly better concentration too although it is something both need to work on - CB is a very tough position for kid as the least lapse is often punished.

Slighlty surprised you don't think we'll sign Henen, believe the concern prior to his joining was his attitude but he appears to have got his head down, worked hard and settled well into the team. He and Galloway seem inseparable!

.....Galloway might not have the physique of browning but from what I see he is still an athlete, very quick covering the ground and in the tackle. I'm not sure about Henen's, he certainly appears to have progressed in recent months. It must take a while to settle in when you are a youngster in a foreign country. The skill set, though, for forwards is that much higher and it's why they cost so much more.

That's why I would take a risk on Henen if he works out its only £1 million. There appears plenty of talented defenders and midfielders in our academy that look good but not many forwards.

With all them players away whose going to play for the under 21's next Wednesday against Norwich. They've cancelled the under 18 game covered by that period but not the under 21 game. It could be a very young team playing.

@england: England U20s to play Mexico: Walton; Iorfa, Obubajo, Hause, Cargill; Hanson, Baker (C), Osborn; Barmby, Akpom, Robinson.

@england: England U20s subs: Pickford, Ball, Grimes, Toffolo, Reed, Stephens, Turnbull, Thomas, Swift, Mowatt.

Long doesn't appear to be in the squad. Hope he's not injured.

Put on his Instagram the other day he's "Gutterd to have to pull out of the England U/20 squad" can only presume it's an injury, hope it's nothing serious.
