First I hope Seamus doesn't get injured, he's had enough of that with the badly broken leg, but if he's out for a few games Jonjo deserves his chance and will take and prove he is capable of staying in the team, which will be good for

In the same group as Scotland England drew 0-0with Netherlands. DCL played about 75 minutes, lead the line well with great pace, had twomchances in the first five minutes , should have scored from the second, when one on one with keeper . Maybe a good save , and infairenessnto him he created the chances with good pacy running.
Tom Davies came on about 60 mins and looked very assured , even spraying a long ball diagonally in the air for DCL , kept his passes simple , moved forward well , lovely cushioned pass from a volley fired at him . Then the enigma that is Tom showed itself in the last minutes when he miskicked a ball dropping to him , caught it squarely the second time towards goal , ball came back and he miscues again. Gotta love him.

Two good centre forward goals and a pen. I like my strikers to take pens.

For a big lad he has good technique. I like him. he could develop into the sort of Plan B player you need to introduce from the bench or play from the start against teams that park the bus.

Anthony Gordon made his England u18 debut , starting today in a 3-0 win over Russia at the Limoges tournament. He wasn’t in the starting 11 for their first game, this was the second.
