REMAINDER EVERTON u18s are in 4th round fa cup youth action Thursday night 7pm ko away to Stoke, doubt its LIVE on anything though

Windy conditions played a big part tonight, and not much in it between the two teams. I thought Adeniran had a good game , and from 60 mins onwards Astley seemed to be on the ball all the time linking well with Bowler. I can’t help thinking that a couple of seasons ago Evans would have buried that first half chance.

Can you knowledgeable folk explain something about the loan system to me?
For an example, Brendon Galloway went on loan to West Brom last season and after a very brief stint in the first team couldn’t get into the side and was recalled in January. I was then under the impression he couldn’t then be loaned out to another club that season and had a choice of either playing in our u23’s or WBA u23’s.
In the news at the moment you’ve got Tammy Abraham on loan at Villa but having the choice to then go on loan at Wolves. Have the rules changed or something? How does that work?

I’m assuming Galloway couldn’t as he maybe played for Everton first team and West Brom since you can only play for two teams in one season.

Abraham up to now has only played for Villa (although they’re seeking clarification over one Chelsea game he may have played in).

It was the charity shield and as it is an invitational game he is fine to play for another side this season. I read it this week somewhere, hopefully my memory isn't failing me.

I though Wolves wanted to buy Abraham outright , but he said no , he wants to finish the season at Villa and go back to Chelsea
Could be wrong of course
