It’s crying out for Simms to be on at 9 if we’re ever going to score from open play. But City are very much in control in midfield and attack so difficult to know who to take off . Me if I’d go 442 with Simms and Dobbin up front we won’t though .

Hard to do more than shrug your shoulders at that game tonight. City played as their first team play in terms of passing, tactics , skill. I really don’t know who we were modelled on , ive never seen a team play with two wide forwards and nobody in the middle of attack . As a result we had no outlet and they just dominated the midfield, although they had the better players and were by far the better team . The difference was noticeable when Simms came on , Adeniran started to get on the ball firing in a cracking shot after Simms held up the ball for him to shoot. The goal came from the resulting corner. Tyrer was our best player and memorable for my first seeing of Jayden Braaf.
