That’s a very heartening read, it shows that we are serious about fast tracking our best 16/ 17 year olds into the U23s if they are ready , and it seems he’s now permanently with the u 23 s presumably Onyango too.
His description of the England set up is good too and at u16 and17 he really has been seen scoring goals playing left , right and through the middle , scoring with both feet. While he’s a slightly different player from Gordon he's ticked all the same boxes of playing up early, earning England youth caps , but with perhaps a more predatory instinct for goals . And at 17 he seems to be filling out nicely with more to come.
Only black mark is he should have persuaded Jude Bellingham to join us!
Quite how the echo think this lad is following the same pathbas Seamus is beyond me. He's from N Ireland and is 17.

On a positive note, McAllister emerged as one of the best 1st year midfielders last season. He didn’t feature much before Christmas , maybe they were easing him in with sub appearances, but January onwards he was a regular starter and chipped in with a few goals too.

I think it was the best three goals of the season from all the youth age groups at the end of season awards that they showed before, I think the under 18's goal won.
