From last year , Hughes, Quirk , Carrol, Hunt, Astley, Tyrer have moved up and no longer eligible , don’t think I’ve missed anybody. Was gonna say we'll have a really strong U18's but I can't remember who's moving out of that group to U23.
Last lad looks like he's a big fan of the grass!

From this years 2nd year Dobbin and Onyango are earmarked for the U23s but may drop down occasionally.
Everton made the decision to pass on participation in the EFL Trophy next season due to fixture congestion.
Well like they said, the EFL Trophy will fall on international fixtures and our u23s will mostly be called up for international duty.Shame; only senior football these lads get, not sure how they have fixture congestion in the U23's either tbh!

They don't want to put u18s against senior teams, which is fair enough
Our best u18s who will be able to compete against seniors are probably on international duty too. I'm sure they thought about it, but what if they are left with young players who are physically and mentally not ready for mens football yet? could easily get injuries and put their development backU18's should go against senior men. These kids, if they're special, should be knocking on the first team door when they're 18 so any experience they can get is great IMO.
