Everton Youth Teams Thread

...mmmm, young Evans clearly one to watch. It would be fantastic to bring a proper goal scoring youngster through. Looking forward to watching him.

I am off on holiday so can't go into too much detail. He is a fantastic talent mate. I didn't mention him much last year as he was an under 16 and the club don't like that. I'll give more of an evaluation next week on my return but he is a very talented prospect.

Great assist for the second goal against Glenavon, his pass took out 5 players. Excellent run for his goal too.

Actually thought Evan's goal was best example of his talent in the way he picked up the ball in his own half , drove past two defenders, put Hennen through with a great pass and got on the end of the return. I do remember catcher highlighting him a few months ago with the caveat that the Club didn't like too much publicity for their U16s so he didn't say too much then.
Depressing to see City paying £12 million for Fulham's very talented 18 year old Patrick Roberts , it seems all talented youngsters get gobbled up by the money guys.... On the other hand I guess we do it too with Garbutt,Stones , Galloway , but apparently the only player to have played 10 PL games that City have produced from their ademy in recent years is Micah Richards .

Roberts will not make it. Not good enough and too sleight. We probably won't hear any more of him.
