Apparently no one really standout especially up front and weaker than the last couple of seasons
They have Nico O’Reilly, he’s an outstanding u17 striker.

I heard (?) / got the impression that our commentary team are going to Morecambe next and that presumably the club would broadcast the match . At a previous game , Palace, they said they’d be broadcasting more games this season, then threw in “ ….where there are league ground facilities” . I saw the last bit as a cop out given City managed to cover the u18 game at Finch Farm very well with one commentator and one camera . Hopefully somebody will show it , I’m not sure what the criteria is for “ u21” but assume that from the last game players meet the criteria.I think the Morecambe v Everton u21 [or u23] whatever they are called tomorrow in the EFL Trophy , maybe on the morecambe IFOLLOW
1 million seems quite a lot so maybe this is the start of us being a bit more aggressive. Undoubtedly it's the upper end because it's the NE reporter so will want Sunderland to look good. Sunderland lost Hugill and Mumba recently for around 300 thousand each I think so I'd imagine the fee to be closer to thatFurther on the Okoronkwo signing.
Everton sign Francis Okoronkwo in deal worth up to £1million
Everton have signed Francis Okoronkwo in a deal that could be worth up to £1million, according to Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope.
The North-East football correspondent, writing via his personal Twitter profile on Monday [13/09/21], claims the teenager has joined the Blues.
Hope said: “This deal is now done. Francis Okoronkwo has joined Everton from Sunderland in a move worth up to £1million.”

It makes sense to play them both . They are both eligible, as are all our current u23 s, it provides game time for those two , adds experience to a young team, it’s against older , league opponents, and may help us to progress further .Hope we do well in this competition. It gives our players game time against seasoned pros. I would consider playing Branthwaite and maybe even Gordon. I know some would prefer these players left out but they need some game time as if they are needed they will be out of match practice.
Yeah he should be playing tonight, a decent player but needs to kick on a bit this season does Isaac.Price?
