Exactly, you would think this would be a given under any manager, but Unsworth should be doing this to help any potential youth players that are training with the 1st team to know straight away what is expected

The few bits I’ve seen of Samuels-Smith he looked a pacy left back, then I watched him playing left centre back for England u16 recently and he was very good there too ,good ability on the ball,strong defender . You’d expect a path at left back would be easier for him with us so it’ll be interesting to see if we play him there in the Youth Cup. Still very young of course, presumably 15.

7 Groups - 7 teams that are 2nd-whch ever 1 team has most points who are 2nd via those groups goes through as the 2nd best placed team along with 7 Group Winners, This very second it may be Blackburn going through by 1 goal over Liverpool, games still going on, and others yet to be played due to weather

It can be difficult to tell early on as in the summer they have numerous “ camps” with maybe around 60 players being looked at, including a few from Everton. They then tend to settle on a smaller squad about October/ Nov in preparation for next year . They actually won a tournament recently beating France in the last game. As mentioned in the above posts, Ishe Samuels-Smith , left centre back/ left back, was our only representative. Best player on the pitch in the game I saw was a 15 year old from Leeds , Archie Gray , of the Leeds Gray family. Though I probably missed a future Ballon D’Or winner playing for France.
