Everton Youth Teams Thread

You can not put Tait in the same box as Unsworth his style of football is totally different, he is a progressive possession based coach did you not watch the youth team at Goodison this season?
Full of under 16/17 players playing with an aggressive press out of possession and an expansive attacking style in possession.
Do not get confused with our u23 low block [Poor language removed]!!
Listen to Anthony Gordon speak glowingly about Paul Tait and how he helped him progress through from u15/16/17/18 and he is not the only player, Halid Djanpata on the official site saying how the coach cares about the person not just the player also the new striker from Sunderland waxing lyrical about Tait. These are the traits of a modern progressive coach not Unsworth screaming about second balls!!
Fair enough mate, as I said I haven't really watched the games. I can just remember those comments from Tait from a while back.

I wonder if any of the u15s will make sub appearances at u18 this season. From memory Ebere and Lawrence made at least one appearance as u15s last season . The one trend established by Brands was playing youngsters up earlier, hopefully Thelwell will be looking to continue that direction.
I think the most likely to is George Morgan, like Ebere & Lawrence another forward. Pretty sure he’s been on the bench already earlier this season.
