For me Chermiti is far ahead of Okoronkwo, as you’d expect for their respective fees. I see something of the young DCL in Chermiti which I don’t see in Okoronkwo, both are 19 , Chermiti slightly older. Watching them play together in the recent EFL Trophy match confirmed that for me. As you say it’s a huge step up , but so far I’m not seeing significant signs from the likes of Kouyate ( I know he’s been injured) and Okoronkwo to suggest they’re going to be pushing for a first team bench place this season. I’d loan Okoronkwo out in January, keep Chermiti at FF, we‘re one DCL injury away from needing him regularly.
