Everton Youth Teams Thread

Going off the Boro one,we had shot off the line on 89 in the 1-0 defeat as well, efc dont say that, then again dont say much, till half the stuff is around on the net

.....it is a very poor service, Evertonians are truly interested in how the youth teams are getting on and the club should do something. Perhaps GOT should have an escalation route to the club so fans can point such things out.

Well the goals on OS will come eventually, and maybe we'll get the actual team sometime too, they really are poor for a home match .
It will be interesting to see how they handle young Delial . 18 yesterday so maybe 4 years until we would start to worry about him not fulfilling potential. I like the way the u18 coaches have kept quite a settled squad and haven't used that many players . At the moment he 's reaping the benefits of playing regularly with his mates and developing all the time. Is it becoming too easy for him at u18.? maybe and a few u21 games may be useful . But his confidence must be sky high, and the things they no doubt try in training are coming off. A season with the U21s, some specific work with Big Dunc, a few sessions with the first team, pre season 1st team squad appearances then a carefully managed loan period and he'll still only be 20. Plenty of time for him to be nurtured properly.

Ya think you will always have a more settled side with the under 18's opposed to the under 21's as with the under 21's seems to chop and change alot due to injuries, loans, senior players playing coming back from injury, under 18's getting moved up to play odd games etc.

Well finally found u18 squad that beat Utd , not on OS of course. I just like to know these things , who's coming , who's playing where etc. No real surprises, as has been said , a settled squad

Think he's played a few u21 games already and done preseason with them too

if he's 18 he'll be there next season anyway?

I'd like to see him sent out on loan for the second half of the season to a Championship club or even to the Belguim pro league.
Sorry just saw your response .
Needs to play against some competitive men I agree. I was just wondering if Henen is coming along as expected. I don't think U21s for too long will help him.
