Stop this back 3 experiment. I normally don’t care about youth results but defending lately has been embarrassing.

Played better in the second half. I appreciate that Armstrong and Dixon are missing in the first team squad (and others on loan), but from this game there was no-one, including Whitaker and Patterson, who is close to breaking into the first team thinking. Heath played well for PL2, so did Whitaker (one of my favourites from previous seasons) and Patterson started to have some nice interplay (although his crossing still needs work).

I’ve never seen so many goals conceded at u21 and u17 as in the last week or so, all our young talent appears to be in the forwards, midfielders , and goalkeepers .

We've been crying out for some decent attackers to come through the youth ranks tbf, so we shouldn't really complain!
