For the best on this showing, looks very rusty defensively. Been alright with the ball.
Losing 2-0 at half time. I think we've been pretty good actually especially Heath and Whitaker. Poor defending for both goals unfortunately.

Think Bates and Thomas look like they’ve got something about them. Thomas is a good size for 17(?).
The Heath experiment at LWB is like watching Mykolenko for the first team - the defender just shows him onto the weaker foot and it's a square or backwards pass. Like someone said, he'd be far better back in a more central position. Midfield and central defence have been quite weak in that first half. Formation is a bit weird - Bates and Butterfield are getting overrun in midfield. Good to see Whitaker back and playing well, though.

Yeah Heath needs to be behind the striker, reminds me of Osman a bit.
I thought Bates and Thomas had moments there first half but that’s a horrendous start to the 2nd half

Butler off injured
Looks like a leg muscle or tendon injury for Butler after three minutes on pitch!
Barker on for Butler
He had a couple of nice balls later in the first half but got shown up defensively a few times.
