Just watching some of the City youngsters playing at Spurs tonight...Wright O Reilly Simpsin- Pusey.....they all look so comfortable with the ball... natural footballers....

They play the same way throughout their youth teams , if they’re not comfortable on the ball they’re let go early on and often replaced at u21 level with imports who are.

….good news, thanks for posting.

January might be too early for a loan spell. Given his age and his contract finishing next summer it’ll be interesting if he moves on or the club offer him another deal.

I think a lot will probably depend on how he gets on over the next couple of months. Offering a multi year to deal to a lad about to turn 22 with no real pedigree is something a lot of people have criticised the club for in the past. If they do it I hope it’s because they have real faith not just because they’re trying to be nice to a lad who had a bad injury.

The under 18s put better crosses in than the first team.

Signed him in the Summer from Wimbledon. Made his senior debut for them when he was 15.

Supposedly “ six figure fee “, as put out by Wimbledon , he’s certainly making his mark , 5 (?) goals recently I think , cool finish with his left foot there and a good headed goal …….get him in the first team.

Some poor defending there, well as much as you can tell from these highlights. It was the same starting back four as the one which beat Blackburn the previous Saturday, but they looked all over the place in the first half. It’s hard to read too much into Poland coming on as left CB in the second half as the highlights didn’t show anything but the bits I’ve seen of him previously he looks big, strong with pace and better at CB than LB.

….sounds a bit like Lewis Gibson coming through as LB/CB. It’s a difficult one because they look big in their age group and they’re all still growing, it’s usually easier to come through as FB but time will tell.
