Everton Youth Teams Thread

Harsh on Thomas I thought, big lad left centre back. Had to cover for the terrible butler at left back a lot. I think Thomas has a chance personally.
I think Thomas is the best CB we have in both u21/u18 s , that’s not saying much but none of the others have impressed me , and Thomas was the youngest on our team tonight. It’s so hard to tell with CBs, he’s had some good games for Wales youth too but so did Ryan Astley who I would say was ahead of Thomas at a similar age but never developed much further physically or playing wise.

I think with Thomas he’s got what Astley never had and that’s natural physicality. Must be 6’3/4 at least already? He’s a big unit as well for 17. He looks comfortable on the ball to me as well, I genuinely think he’s got a real chance. Highly rated again at FF.

…he really shouldn’t have been sent on loan last season. I’m not saying that because of the serious injury but because he should’ve had opportunity here. Instead Dyche decided to keep Dobbin. I understand his contract is up in the summer, big decision to be made on his future.

Mills is a terrific athlete (his brother is an international 1500m runner) who has a bit of attitude (like his Dad). I like that he’s an uncomplicated footballer.
Was looking like a real talent 2 yrs ago and was a shinning light in the 21’s. And by all accounts was looking good at Oxford before his injury. Hopefully he can come back from it
