I don't think it will be too much for him though as this is basically what he has asked for. It's also not like he's out laying bricks for 9 hours, he's sat in meetings deciding if a right winger is better than Jack Harrison.

It would be great to do a some introductory stuff in the lead up to the event i.e. by publishing more 'meet the scholar' type videos, so that when the event takes place the fans have a better understanding of who they are watching and hopefully create ongoing interest in their progress through the ranks. Lets go with names on back of shirts too.

I think it would be great to give our kids a bit of early exposure and positive support.

….don’t think Ball played at all in that youth cup run.

I expect Armstrong to play, hopefully Graham is available for this one.

Imagine he will, keep him ticking over. Got a chance this year that group, hopefully losing Baines doesn’t set them back.
 
By my reckoning we going to need 9 new outfield players during this window and the summer window. That's without stocking up on youth.

We're moving into a new stadium and having such a churn of players at the same time (ignoring the cost) could be a big risk.

IF they would renew on reasonable and limited length terms I could see us renewing Ghana, Doucoure, and even Keane.

We'll be down to Chermitti as a Striker (I assume that Beto will go) and so we are looking at getting in two strikers. In the absence of any Bosmans that's going to be expensive. We'll be the loan rangers again.
 

Wonder if the 21s game will be streamed. There's no reason why it shouldn't be but then there was no reason why the 18s gane vs city shouldn't and they didn't bother.
