He started off with two MoM performances but has faded a bit in the last few games with some Cambridge fans calling for him to be rested.

Cheers 4 that m8, will do! Just hope the lad does fullfill his potential + doesnt drift off like baxter or even lundstram looked good potential. Still young tho + sure bobby keeping an eye out. Cheers 4 that anyway m8

.....we have to manage expectation. I don't think anybody is truly saying that he is the next big thing but he is highly rated and has potential along with a few others. Indeed, those who are regular watchers say we have a good crop of youngsters but no obvious 'next big thing'.
 

For the people in the know, Conor Grant - is there a future for him here? It seemed that Martinez liked him when he came in, and then he has had a few loans which seem to have been successful, keeping Motherwell up, and now showing he is definitely a class above League One standard. Reports are constantly glowing for him - Joe Royle must impressed with what he is seeing.

Do we think he will get another contract? Seems a tidy player from what i have seen of him with a decent passing range.

I have mixed feelings about Roy Hodgson calling him across to help out England 1sts in training. Great experience for a youngster, I didn't read anything more into it than he was available a few yards away and as Captain of the u17s a reasonable choice, but suddenly he got Own Thread/ "next big thing" status - not that he isnt a talented youngster , cracking player but .... long way to go at 17.

There's an interview with him on Everton TV , and he comes across as an amazingly confident person and speaker , much more so than some youngsters. I think he's got a contract until the summer, I'm not sure of Griffiths contract, so was wondering if he's getting games so they can assess his contract or if he's genuinely keeping Griffiths out.
