Dowell should be in the first team squad til the end of the season an ross should be told you now have competition for your place.step up or step aside

Why not play them both, watching Spurs and they play with Lamela and Erikkson who are both essentially No 10's. May help Ross to have someone on the same wavelength as it did with Gerry earlier in the season.

Hibbert is an experienced Premiership player.
Youngster learn from playing alongside players with experience, they can soak up the knowledge from them more easily by playing alongside them than they ever would in a training session.

We may have lots of problems at the club, but that isn't one.

Noway mate. Totally disagree, players getting dropped moved around to accomidate a 35 year old who will never play for us again hopefully. If we want to use his expiriance then let him sit on the bench with unsworth. Only playing him to get our moneys worth on his 40k a week contracr. Madness.

Wasn't yesterday, think it was a few days ago, but yes I did, because he is.

I objected to him being painted as "the answer" when he hadn't been included in the first team squad. I don't see the harm with nothing to play for of giving him a chance in the first team squad to see what he can do at this point.

Fine, but people were making out like he should definitely replace Barkley.

He shouldn't. He should make a natural progression - move into the first team squad, show what you can do, then stake your claim.

Hopefully he gets the chance now, and to be fair he'll have to be something special to displace the players he's vying for.
