Everton Youth Teams Thread

5-2,to Wales , young Nathan just scored the 5 th , a cracker , he brought a high ball coming back to him on his chest and as it fell struck a wicked left foot half volley shot high into the opposite corner of the net from the right hand edge of the box. Woodburn of the RS looks a very good player.

I had a look at Broadhead's first goal , that was a cracker too. Ball came to him on left edge of the box with his back to goal, created space with two markers close to him and hit it high into the net with his right foot. Very similar trajectory to his 2nd goal which was with his left and from right side of the box. His all round performance was good too, playing his part in a good team effort , all be it against 10 men for last 15 mins or so. Stand by for some headlines in the next few days and certainly questions about his lack of U23s game time. If we don't use him there will be somebody wanting him on loan come January.

Tom Davies's England u19 beat Greece 2-0 . That means Wales, England , Greece have 6 points each and have beaten each other so not sure how they decide 1st and 2nd who go through to next stage . If it's Overall goal difference Greece will be through and I think Wales on goals scored. If it's Goal Difference between the top 3 then Wales will miss out.

Everton Under-23s manager David Unsworth has thrown his
full support behind Everton in the Community’s upcoming Goodison Sleepout by signing up himself and his entire Under-23 squad!

The Blues legend, his 20-strong team of players and full backroom team will be arriving at Goodison Park on Friday 25 November armed with their sleeping bags instead of football boots as they sleep out in the Park End stand to experience the challenges that homeless people face on a daily basis.

Captained by Jonjoe Kenny, the full U23 squad will leave the comfort of their homes and brave the elements as they help to raise much needed funds for EitC to help identify and support vulnerable people across Liverpool.

Although no fundraising target has been set, the team is trying to raise as much as possible, please show your support to the team, all donations will be greatly appreciated as every penny helps with the life changing work being done by the Blues' official charity!!!!
