Unfortunately ,when you look at Gomez you can see why players need to move from clubs at a lower level of competition.
Gomez has the potential to be a top class player, but his control,positioning and judgement are suspect at the moment. He needs to be playing with and against better players every day and unfortunately that won't happen at Charlton.

I expect that is the reason that Galloway moved to Everton and also why lots of young players move to bigger clubs , even though it is harder to get established at big premiership clubs.

Love to see full backs scoring from open play, it takes such willpower and stamina to get into the opposition box when the ball breaks down the other wing. 9 times out of 10 all of that effort is nugatory. It can't be a coincidence ours are increasingly doing it at all levels.

Yeah good to see him steaming forward and getting into the box a bit, even fairly late in the game when he gets his second he's the furthest one forward so he's obviously a fairly confident lad, hopefully he and a few others in different age groups progress through to the first team in years to come, would be great to have a core of first team players that have come through our own academy.

Thanks for the link Bungle, was great to see his performance.

Kenny, oddly playing in midfield rather than as a full back, made a gorgeous pass at ~15 sec to almost get a goal for Armstrong/Solanke as well.

kenny seems to have the ability to play anywhere. hope he doesnt turn into another philip neville though!lol
