great win blues, bit of a flattering scoreline after not a brilliant performance, but great character to get pegged back and then go and seal it with two more goals fairly soon after instead of enduring a late holding on job. Thought sambou changed the game

....getting the impression the Blues are growing into this. It's not easy for new faces to drop into a side. I thought the lad at LB did well and you can see D C-L is a target man. Need to get the creative players playing, the likes of Dowell has a touch of class.

....glad that Dowell demonstrated the quality we know he has but he needs to influence games a little more. Quality touches, though.

D C-L impressive leading the line. I've liked what I've seen as a target man with good technique. Lookman was disappointing, thought his confidence should make him stand out at that level but he was poor. Joe Williams might have been a bit sloppy in possession but made a number of big interceptions. Very good win.

Fairly strong team from us. Dowell, Walsh, Feeney and Robison are academy lads of ours that are pretty highly rated

Apparently he did the same at WBA in one of his few starts, but they didn't score and Pulis went beserk for going so far forward, never played him again . This may only partly be true.
