Would be great if they had a good crowd as they deserve it after the season they have had.

3 at the back didn't work out so well vs Chelsea last time...
And a massive banner,we don't "slip"when a PL trophy is at stakeI reckon they will get an excellent crowd LL, maybe even 10-13k. The last game they did this against the Saints the whole Park End and Upper Bullens were full.

Have you heard much about the two lads we lost at what I thought was under 12's to City? (May be under 13's though, hope not!)
It looks like City may get an 18 months ban, which if true should help us keep our teams together a bit better!
No, but I'm not surprised.
Basically any boy taken on by City gets £100k worth of guaranteed education. Around a 1 in 5000 chance of a player being taken on by a youth academy reaching the top flight so joining them is a non-brainer. Plus they can always refuse pro-terms and come back to Everton at 17 for free![]()
Good news that the U13 team won the Premier League International Cup.
Arguably the most prestigious youth tournament around at that age. Don't know the details yet but Real/Barca/City/Chelsea usually all participate.
Edit - Our group was Benfica, Arsenal and WBA.
Sporting Lisbon also took part.
Right not much info out. We beat Benfica in the group stage.
Seems to be made up of U12 tournament winners from year before. Arsenal, Sunderland, Wolves, WBA and us from England.
Calling it now, current U13 team is the next golden generation as they seem to have won all the tournaments open to them (Futsal, PL tournament and International Cup) on the PL website.
Last group to do that are current generation coming through.

That is hugely impressive and something that should be viewed as just as big an achievement as the u23's winning there league.
I agree, the next good team we have coming through although a long way still to go for many of them.
The rules are changing to make it almost impossible to take an unreleased player from another cat 1 club. Once you sign at 9, you're there as long as they want you so it should stop this happening.
Sadly you don't get them back for free even if they refuse a new contract now.

It was 2 of the 'best' under 12's. The guy who posted it on the City forum said City were very aggressive in their pursuit of academy players - maybe thats why they are on tge verge of a ban.
This is correct and its hard for a parent not to take this into account when making a decision, but I know of 2 boys who have Left Everton and the reason for both was not the schooling but the coaching standards now admittedly the age groups were 8 & 12 and as you go up the age groups the coaching might improve greatly I don't know, but it shows not all parents do it for the sole of education.Basically any boy taken on by City gets £100k worth of guaranteed education.
