Fueling is always an issue with this as they calculate just enough for the original race distance. Not sure what the offset would be for the slower laps under the safety car.

The cars use sod all fuel under safety car… they can also carry more fuel than choose to but obviously tend to use as little as possible.

But yeah I guess in extreme circumstances it could be problematic

I suppose if they know that safety car laps won’t count they would need to make a decision on “over fueling” to allow for this. Race control could also red flag if too many laps have been done under safety car. Something needs to change you are right.

Used to watch F1, lost interest when sky got it because I didn't have sky, started watching drive to survive on Netflix reignited interested so started watching last few n can't see the interest lasting tbh

I know I've left this very late to ask for advice but tickets go on sale tomorrow for the 2023 British Grand Prix and I'm going to look at buying weekend tickets for me and my daughter.
I have absolutely no interest in F1 at all but my daughter is obsessed with it. She turns 21 next year and she'll be graduating uni so this will be a pretty special present for her.
All I can see at the moment is the tickets are available on member pre-sale and the 3 day tickets in the village are 'from £419'. I've never been to Silverstone before, is the village a good place to go? It seems to be where a lot of the attractions are and you get a decent view of the first corner.
Any suggestions or advice from people that have been before the tickets go on public sale in the morning?

Dunno about attractions but the best spots to sit are by 'club' and 'becketts' imo, both pretty expensive though relative to other positions. Village is a decent spot with a good view of a heavy braking zone though.

Could be interesting, at least for the cover up, if nothing else...

Pretty huge news especially as Marko has basically confirmed they are under investigation. One team is said to have gone over it a lot and another only a little bit... my gut tells me its Aston Martin who have gone over it in a big way. Definitely adds another level of shadiness to last years title though.

I've heard it's more likely that Aston Martin are the minor (<5%) and Red Bull are the major (>5%).

The fact that Horner said, "We don't even know if we're in breach," to me tells everything as the blurt is like a defence barrister or politician being non-committal.
