It was like they were dithering as it was final lap and wanted some kind of chequered flag for the TV.
As Russel says, it could have been a really messy situation. Surely, if a car is not on its wheels in the middle of the track it should be an automatic and instant VSC to buy them a few seconds to asses either a full SC or Red Flag.

He got punished for this too by the way.
From Albon writing off his car in practice right through to Russell going sideways there was plenty of it this weekend. Just need Red Bulls pit crew to take a few lessons from Sauber and the season could actually be a good one.

Incredibly boring race it was 12pm local time for me start and after about 20 minutes I put it on my phone instead and fell back asleep in bed.
