FA CUP 3RD ROUND DRAW DETAILS

Wtf is it with us and tough draws? Every cup competition lately has us drawn against a good side even the europa group you knew we would get the toughest one

West Ham nearly always beat us in the f.a cup,1980 semi final being the most famous but they knocked us out in the 3rd round in 1981-82 2-1 at their place and again by the sane score in the 1/4 final in 1990 which was one of BskyB, s first Monday night live games before the formation of the premier league. Hope we can buck the trend.
Didn't we best them a few years back twice in a week at their place? Sure one of them was the FA cup

West Ham were unfortunate to lose against us with their reserves out the other week. This will be just what the doctor ordered for them as they were seething at the injustices in the game. Basically, what I'm trying to say is its a tough draw and based on our current form we're not the favourites to progress.

We are at home, we are better than them - albeit they are a good team in good form - and Big Sam is famous for not taking cup competitions too seriously.

Of course we are favourites.

"****'s sake.

On the plus side, AFC have got the Victims, and they're sort of our office team. Praying for an upset there."

This was philosophical Dan's response to the draw on a Hammers forum. They seem to be crapping themselves as much as we are

That is usually because he is with a relegation threatened team. This time around he might have half a bulging eye on Europe and rest a few for that reason.

We were at home against Wigan, we were the better team, difference was that they had a tactical genius of a Manager.....oh...wait a minute ?

We really are in a feeling sorry for ourselves moment right now aren't we.

Yeah west ham are doing well at the minute, but we beat them recently, we have the stronger team and we'll do them. Everyone cheer up, there's even lights on GOT!

Could have been an easier game but that is the hand fate deals you. Our neighbours look to have virtually a bye into the next round.

Well if we come through could mean the start fo a cup run and get funds in.

If we lose, then focus on Pl and Europa.
