normally I'd frown on giving players abuse but after that showing and the amount they earn to do their job, I'm not that bothered if they get stick.
And if they choose to get in to it with some anonymous stranger on social media, more fool them.
If that was Delph giving 100% then he's crap.
If it wasn't and he didn't give 100% for that game, then he's useless.
Either way, he should hide from any confrontation with a hurting fan and start looking for a club where his idea of 100% is acceptable.

Out of our players, I could not imagine ever thinking I'd ever want a picture with him.

Hearing about what he said to Holgate, he thinks he's a legend of the game and we all look up to him.

Honestly all I can think of him is that he wanted to leave Villa, then doing a U turn for a new contract saying there's still loyalty in football, then joining city on a mega contract only to mainly play left back despite being an attacking mid.

What an ego and disappointing signing, as someone else said he screams Williams in terms of his atitude.

He was messaged directly though. It’s one thing to tag players in whatever but to directly message them is a bridge too far I think. I think what he’s said in reply is bad but he shouldn’t have fans messaging him in the first place. No need for it, we lost, we move on. Getting on the players backs especially one that only came on as a sub does no good for literally anyone. I’m not saying let them get away with it, by no means, but this isn’t the way to go about it at all.

1: Make an effort
2: Wind his neck in
3: Not use public social media
4: Block people
5: Simply apoligise if he has to reply rather than insulting fans


Fine him 1 months wages, send him to train alone and stick him on the transfer list.

Ive seen lists of 8 or 9 players that people think wont play for us again.

Ive seen lists of 8 or 9 players that people think wont play for us again.

As others have posted he's lucky not to face an italian backlash.

Talk about winding necks in ,I think you should consider it as you are coming across a blinkered fool .There are far worse players in the side than him and if you want to mention social media then look at what you post !

Luckily though you're not a highly paid professional footballer insulting people who indirectly contribute to their wages.

I’m glad to see him stick up for himself. I’m sure he believes he’s giving it his best. I want them to be pissed off and embarrassed they should be.

We like to think we’re above them lot from over the park. Disgraceful the way they hang players out to dry and hound them out of the club for a few mistakes.

I know what a stroll is, I was asking what on earth you're on about in regards to delph?
