I feel bad for the lads but it's a perfect storm at the moment. We are historically one of the most important teams in world football and the fans have been aching for some success. Any kind of success. I swear if Frank and the lads can pull off an FA cup win this year we will see a massive change in the fortunes of the club going forward.

I’m wondering if the footballing expert motor mouths will watch and absorb this, or pretend it didn’t happen as it pisses on how they damage Everton. Some would say these same fans are more damaging than a kopite but that’s not for me to say.

Some of the hard core "real" fans (as they self styled themselves) who made it their life's mission to unseat Benitez have frog marched this club over to the edge of the abyss...and they know it too...and now all they have left is to try and muddy the waters by pathetically rounding on people who gave that manager support...like an assailant standing over their victim with a rock in their hand screaming at them that they forced them to smash them over the head with it.
I feel very bitter toward them today if I'm being totally honest with you.
Thank you for being brave enough to post this mate, it’s needed. There is a huge undercurrent of so-called blues more concerned at not losing face over damaging Everton with their misplaced and really quite stupid views rather than getting behind Everton.
I do not know how we attracted this type of completely devoid of humility trashy Geordie fan but here we are, and not calling out them and their egos would only empower them to try and hurt Everton more.

The absolute nerve of these people staggers me. They've undermined Everton all season and been prepared to take the gamble that they could unseat the manager and crater our season - and time it so that an acceptable manager to them could come in to save the day.
Well their calculation didn't come off, and here we are.

The twisted logic they use to cover their tracks is to place all this onto the owners for hiring Benitez and fans who gave an Everton manager and his team support. It's an outrageous lack of acknowledging their own responsibility for the part they've played in this crisis.
As said, I'm very bitter toward them.
I feel you hold your bitterness quite well which is something they could perhaps learn from and try to apply themselves mate.
