I;m highlighting you placing in bold those words that claim and asking how you can question that it happened.

Of course it happened. There's tweets with those players being screamed at by the away supporters and told to go back.
Then, I will have to take your word for it, even though it seems highly unlikely that there would be more than a handful of them.

I don't do Twitter, Facebook or any of those forums, but I'm told that you couldn't rely on the veracity of a lot of those who do.

Those away supporters that you say petrify some of our players would fall into the category of your not real Evertonians, though
I'm surprised that they bother going to the time and expense of travelling to watch Everton.

I wouldn’t change Evertonians for a moment. Rather than being sheep in a self congratulating desperate for validation cult we’re a mishmash of individualism, authenticity and spontaneity. No one speaks on behalf of Evertonians as our relationship with the following the club is personal and not determined by others. If Evertonians go mental at one of their own there’s usually decent reason for it, with the worst being a lack of application or heart. We can understand a lack of talent but can never forgive not trying or caring, this usually means there’s very little hiding place for these type of players at Goodison and beyond. I personally believe this has prevented us being relegated a few times in the last few decades as it brings an air of accountability from the crowd on the players and I prefer that visceral anger than a happy sing along; or heavily orchestrated choir practice - usually just for the cameras.

Absolutely no one is entitled to tell you how to support Everton, that’s entirely your choice, mate. Of all the blessings in my life I feel particular gratitude for being an Evertonian as - despite the hideous let downs of the team and management - I find pride, belonging and a continual source of smiles being part of this royal blue weekly onslaught of the nerves.

Absolutely maggots those who hate on young scouse players because you hate your life and can’t keep it up anymore. You utter parasites on a once great club, this is all on YOU.

Indeed.

I really just meant ‘down with this sort of thing’, y’know?

We’re a good bunch at heart and deserve better than what we currently get, especially the away fans.

I’m liking Frank.

There was hundreds of everton fans screaming at the team after the Norwich defeat, not handfuls. Those players are cowards anyway, the extra slap they received off fans was enough to send them scurrying behind the couch and incapable of taking the pitch with any confidence.

The critical reaction towards the team from the supporters at the Norwich match was what you would expect in the circumstances.

2-0 down early in the first half against the worst team in the league.

That isn't a concerted effort by Everton supporters to abuse our players with the intent of undermining Benitez in an attempt to get him sacked.
