Reckon he made that statement from his yacht in monte Carlo with big intentions. But unfortunately lost all the Mosh dosh Casino Royale style later that night on roulette and that's why everything's so quiet.

Yeah I saw our wrath, 2 lids asking Bill where the Arteta money was.

Even that was tutted down by Bills army of the undead.

You are talking about a group of fans that allowed the club to go through 5 transfer windows without spending cash money on a single football player.

Wrath, LOL.

Clowns with cakes FC.
What do you think the reaction would be if any owner of EFC tried to change the name to Everton Blue Jays or have us play in chocolate brown? That's what i'm talking about here: a threat to an identity...not spending ten bob on transfers.

Dave you missed my point altogether about BK in charge and your preference plus my point about commercial information regarding a new stadium could be confidential. I said nothing about sponsorship or funding. You seem to be pursuing an irrational dislike of Moshiri.

How has that been expressed by me? I'm actually more forgiving than most would be on here with regard to transfer activity and commercial growth of the club.

As long as a stadium is secured quickly then transfer spending need not be gargantuan and neither would I expect him to wave a magic want and right the absolute midden that is the Everton commercial department.

Evidence to support your conjecture!!

It appears Dave that there has been some thing going on about the stadium - see the thread.

I know mate.

If it's the start of a stadium scheme on that site that has an outstanding chance of coming to fruition then they can build a statue to Moshiri as far as I'm concerned.

Dave, the majority of us would love that to come about, just thinking that those RS would have red noses.

I truly hope and have faith. It would be an enormous statement of intent for the future of the club.

Found this comment from Ashley Williams dar very interesting, seems as tho Bill is still as involved as hes ever been.

Errol Williams is happy that Williams has made the move and revealed what Bill Kenwright said to the Welsh talisman. He told the Tamworth Herald:

"Ash is feeling very good. Ronald Koeman wanted him as did the club and they made that clear to him.

"The chairman was really good, he told Ash he had seen him at Stockport and he was the first player David Moyes and Roberto Martinez wanted and now he has finally succeeded third-time lucky with Koeman.

Speculation - but:- From Arseblog.

Speculation is mounting that Alisher Usmanov is ready to sell his stake in Arsenal and join former partner Farhad Moshiri at Everton.

The Uzbeki took full control of the 30.04% that RED and WHITE SECURITIES LTD own in the club when Moshiri purchased a 49.9% stake in Everton earlier this year.

However, with an almost non-existent relationship with Stan Kroenke – the 67.05% majority shareholder in Arsenal – and the chances of him being offered a position on the board, or one of any influence at the club, almost zero, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he decided to go all in with Moshiri at the Merseyside club.

In order to do that though, he would need to find a buyer for his shares, as he is highly unlikely to sell to the American’s KSE group.

What that might mean for Arsenal is very interesting. At the moment there’s a kind of status quo, where Usmanov has accepted he can have no influence leaving Kroenke quite happy and untouchable, but perhaps new investors might be more inclined to shake things up.

Since his arrival at Everton, Moshiri has presided over the appointment of Ronald Koeman from Southampton, as well as installing Leicester’s former chief scout Steve Walsh as the club’s director of football, real signals of ambition from the club.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on because the implications for Arsenal are obvious.
Kroenke doesn't care what he does. A new shareholder will have just as little power.

I only know that Moshiri bought 15% of Arsenal for 75m and sold it for 200m.

Now im not great at Maths, but that seems like a decent return to me like.
Exactly. The old joke about losing money in football doesn't apply now.

The new TV deals and marketing opportunities are huge and teams can be very profitable if they are smart in the transfer market, look at Saints.

Hasn't spent 1 penny of the incoming TV money of 1 penny of his own cash yet. 100 million investment this window????. Are we the only club in the league that hasnt spent tv money or investment mney.Still waiting. Hopefully some of it will be true.
