There are a lot of good clubs in this league struggling to spend money, I can see us signing another 3 to 5 players by the time the window shuts.

I find it amazing some are doubting Moshiri's intentions, he's going to have a good go at getting us into the elite again, he's the one we've been waiting for I have no doubts about that, he's been here 5 months, Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.

I doubt him - 100%.
He's jumped ship from the gunners where he'd have very little of the TV money in his own pocket, to us where he'll have 49% of the TV for very little outlay. He's not going to invest big. He's not going to have a "warchest" as others said when he bought his stake. He's no different than the muppet that had Villa or the pair who had that shower up the road.

Wow!! Think you're on the wrong forum - The Samaritans are that way >>>>>>>

Mate you're on the wrong forum, most Evertonians are letting off a little bit of sex wee at the direction we're heading.

That was in return for shares. You may as well say Kenwright wiped the debts.

In fact with the ownership structure I'm not even sure how he could invest in the team now. Directors loan maybe?

Just on the idea you mention that debts were paid off by shares I'm not sure what you mean?

Moshiri's original acquisition of 49.9% did not place money inside the club. All it was was the transfer of shares from several large shareholders to Blue Heaven Holdings for a cash consideration received by the shareholders who sold. The club's financial position did not alter because of that purchase.

It has altered since by an injection of cash from BHH which allowed the long term debt to be repaid - although the club has not officially confirmed this.

The further unofficial news last week of land purchases in and around Bramley Moore Docks is also an indication that the long term Prudential/AIB debt has been repaid - given the security terms attached to that debt I'm sure the land purchase would not have gone ahead prior to the satisfaction of the long term debt.

Who did you want to buy us then?

Hi mate, I'm a shareholder in the club just like Moshiri and many others. I'm not expecting to see my % of the tv money so can you explain how Moshiri will receive the tv money and other shareholders won't?

Thanks.

Did you just nonchalantly let us know where the new stadium is going to be at?

Has anyone considered that Moshiri could be playing a long game. Get the team improved, up the table, Euros footie and a new stadium on the waterfront! The club then becomes a very attractive proposition for a future takeover and Moshiri comes out of this with a great deal more money than he put in.
