Its been a frustrating summer all round I feel, we are now coming to the "end" of phase 1, it clearly didnt go as planned, I think we can all assume that, but you know theres a lot to do, im willing to give them plenty of time to crack on with it, when all around are losing their heads..........

I think you are a multi of me at times.

There was some wild projections at just what effect Moshiri joining the club would have. I think there needed to be a more level headed assessment of where and at what pace we were heading.

I go back again to what I've said time after time since he arrived: there needed to be an interview given by Moshiri setting out in broad brushstrokes what he wanted to achieve here and how long he envisaged that would take. At the time I first put that forward it was shouted down as "mind your own business, the owner is under no obligation to reveal anything to you or anyone else". Instead the expectation levels were ramped up and we are where we are now, with a lot of disillusioned people.

I agree 100%, as quite a new poster here I find that everytime you dare mention anything against the new regime you get abuse or called a bed wetter. Makes me not want to post anything to be honest

Most people aren't remotely near the 'he's a fraud' category, but it's taken that way. It's all a bit too precious and sensitive. Straw men are being put up to be knocked down because genuine questions appear to be unwanted or embarrassing.

The owner is there to be assessed. People should be able to do that without being called names.

Post Balance sheet event note or when the auditors point out that there are outstanding charges that have been satisfied and they are then removed. Remember the great melt down of 16th October 2015?
Or earlier if the charges are removed or Carroch Holdings applies for dissolution.
NEA to be honest.
so your saying it won't show up in Octobers accounts mate ?

Why are some seeing any criticism of the situation as doubting Moshiri, or worse still that anyone uneasy with the situation is wanting £100M spent and a spade in the ground down the docks next week?

That's just a lazy way of dealing with justified concerns at the way things are rolling out.

I can understand the potential doubt people may have over wiping the debt/the new stadium as a lot of that is based on heresay. It's more peoples criticism of the apparent lack of transfer spending when the window is still very much open that I'm struggling to understand

Well you've said you don't think he's a bad owner, and you're happy with the business Koeman has done, which was only possible due to Moshiri. So if it's not because he hasn't spunked half a billion like I just said, I'm really struggling to see what the issue is

It wasnt only possible because of Moshiri though as we've just sold one of our Crown Jewels for nearly £50m

I get that. But it is the "We havnt spent £100m" shouts that tend to grate on me.

It is a change of ownership after so long under Bill. Things will take time. And if we have a negative spend this window, but the team improves, which early signs are is happening, then I dont get the angst.

I think there's a lot in this window that is alarming, tbh. There are many glaring similarities with what's passed before in years gone by.

Im not sure its quite fair to say others are using straw men, when you throw up one to tear down. "or worse still that anyone uneasy with the situation is wanting £100M spent and a spade in the ground down the docks next week?"
